Donations Needed to Build the Pellicci Pergola at Fairgate Farm

The Stamford community is joining forces to raise funds to build the Anthony Pellicci Pergola at Fairgate Farm, 129 Stillwater Avenue, in the historic West Side neighborhood for which Pellicci gave his impassioned support. Architects, contractors, and volunteers are donating the design and labor but need to raise $15,000 by March 1, 2018, for the building materials and resources to make this project come to life. Tax-free donations of any amount can be made at youcaring.com/fairgatefarm-1062945 where a video and details about this vital project can be found. “We are grateful to the individuals and businesses who want to make a difference and take pride in being part of a culture that promotes healthy living, especially for the people who need it most,” explains Charter Oak Communities chief executive officer Vincent Tufo. A fundraising kick-off event is planned on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at 5:00 pm at Pellicci’s Restaurant (96 Stillwater Ave). For information, email Fairgatefarm@gmail.com.
